2026-2027 LDC Elite Competition Team Auditions will take place in June at Laiche Dance Center. We are so excited to continue growing our LDC Elite Company this upcoming season, and dancers of all ages are encouraged to audition! If you plan to attend, please fill out this Google Form.

What is the LDC Elite Competition Team?

The LDC Elite Competition Team is a select group of dedicated, determined, and passionate dancers who are committed to growing both individually and as a team. Our dancers support one another, lead with humility, and serve as positive role models, while inspiring younger dancers at LDC to reach for the stars.

What ages are eligible to audition and join the team?

All ages 4 and up are encouraged and eligible to audition for our team! 

What is the time commitment for dancers on the competition team?

LDC Elite Members are expected to maintain a consistent weekly training schedule, including ballet, jazz, contemporary, and hip hop classes (approximately 5 hours per week), in addition to weekly competition team rehearsals.

How many competitions and events does the team typically attend each season?

4-5 competitions and 2 conventions

Are there additional costs or fundraising opportunities involved?

Yes, there are additional costs associated with being part of the competition team. However, we LOVE fundraising and are committed to providing multiple fundraising opportunities throughout the summer and fall to help offset expenses for the 2026–2027 season.
